Vertical Wheelchair Lifts

We represent many manufacturers. Unlike companies that represent only a single supplier, we are able to provide products in all price ranges to meet your budget, and provide the features that best suit your needs.

VERTICAL PLATFORM LIFTS: These lifts were traditionally reserved for low-rise accessibility applications for mobility-impaired people, to provide access onto stages, porches, and between other small changes in elevation. They are also permitted to penetrate a floor when installed within a runway enclosure and travel up to 14’ in non-residential buildings (greater travel may be possible in residential applications). These runway enclosures may be of drywall construction where fire separation is required,
or are available from the lift manufacturers made from aluminum framework with clear or tinted acrylic, tempered glass, or metal panel inserts. For high-profile, high visibility applications we can provide lifts made of stainless steel and tempered glass, with stainless-steel-framed or frameless tempered glass enclosures.

We have both the open-platform type with 42” high cab walls, and the enclosed-platform type with 80” high cab walls and a ceiling incorporating integral halogen lighting.  The enclosed type is much more rugged and provides additional comfort to ambulatory passengers when traveling between two floors. These lifts can also serve intermediate landings.

Models are available for both indoor and outdoor use. We have lifts with screw, roped-hydraulic, and roller chain-hydraulic drive systems, with speeds ranging from 8 feet per minute up to the code-maximum of 30 FPM. Capacities up to 1000 lbs. are available where permitted by code.
